Before there was a Busch Series, a Nationwide Series or an Xfinity Series there was the NASCAR Sportsman Division and on Feb. 19, 1977 Donnie won the Permatex 300 Sportsman Division Race at the Daytona International Speedway driving a car owned by J.W. Hunt.
